Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa visited St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Parish,East Area, London, on 11th of September, 2011. This was the second visit of Thirumeni to the parish since he became the Diocesan Episcopa. Thirumeni conducted Holy Qurbana Service and 7 children of the parish received Holy Communion for first time. Students’ Dedication, as they begin classes after summer holidays, was also conducted during the service.Thirumeni, during his sermon reminded the first communicants the need for a responsible disciplined Christian living. Thirumeni also reminded the parents regarding their great responsibility to be models for their children.

After the worship service Thirumeni met the clergy of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Rev.John Brown and Rev. Bridget De Mello. Tirumeni thanked them on behalf of the parish for sharing the church facilities with St. Peter’s. Rev. John Brown and Rev. Bridget brought greetings and spoke on the occasion and expressed their appreciations to the ministry of the Mar Thoma Church. Mr. K. P. Babukutty and Mrs. Saly Babukutty who were celebrating the Silver Jubilee of their marriage on that day were honoured during the occasion, with “Ponnada” and Thirumeni blessed them. The service concluded with Kaimuthu. After the common programme Thirumeni found time to interact with people and met many families and individuals.
