Meeting of the School Mates

H. H. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos , Metropolitan of the Malankara Orthodox Church and Rt Rev Dr Geevarghese Mar Theodosius, Episcopa of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church met for a fellowship meal at the residence of Mar Coorilos on the evening of June1, 2016. Both of them studied at the same time at the Mar Thoma Seminary high School , Kottayam and left the school in 1964. Both of them got ordained in the respective churches and were consecrated as Bishops. They met after a long time in the same School when they came for the meeting of the Old Students. Now both are living in Navi Mumbai on the same lane in the respective Diocesan centers and shepherding the members and serving the larger society. Ecumenical activities will have greater momentum with the two leaders ministering together at the same place and responding to the common concerns of humanity these days.
