2012 Mar Thoma Junior/Senior Conference
South East Region
The 1st Junior/Senior Conference of the Southeast Region Sunday Schools was held at Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey from July 26th through 29th, 2012. More than 200 delegates attended this four-day conference. The theme for the conference was “God’s Voice: Your Choice” taken from 1 Samuel 3:10. Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius delivered the inaugural address.

Dr. T.V. Thomas, Dr. Anita Daniel, Rev. Dr. Joe Joseph Kuruvilla, and Rev. Jaisen Thomas gave felicitation. The theme presentation by the students of Christos Mar Thoma Sunday School was stunning and powerful. Southeast regional president Rev. P.A. Abraham welcomed the leaders and dignitaries to the conference and secretary Mr. Thomas Philip gave the vote of thanks.Main talks were led by Dr. T.V. Thomas and Dr. Anita Daniel. Rev. Jaisen Thomas and Rev. Dr. Joe Joseph Kuruvilla, led the Bible study sessions. Some of the other highlights of the conference were Praise & Worship, “Ask the Leaders”, Panel discussions, Group discussions, Choral prayer, Talent Night, Bible jeopardy, and a Magic show for juniors.The Witnessing and Dedication session on Saturday was the climax of the conference with more than 100 children witnessing and dedicating and rededicating their lives to Christ.

On Sunday Rev. Jaisen Thomas celebrated the Holy Communion and Dr. T.V. Thomas shared the Word of God. Followed by the Holy Communion was the closing ceremony program. In the closing program, everyone held their hands together in unity as the Junior Senior conference 2012 ended with a melodious song from the Praise and Worship team followed by prayer and benediction.
