Farewell to Outgoing Achens
Month of April is a time of transfer of almost one third Clergy in the Mar Thoma Church. This year there are 21 Clergy going on transfer from the Diocese of North America and Europe- one from Europe, two from Canada and the rest from United States of America. There are some internal transfers as well.

The Diocese is grateful to these clergy for their ministry. Though there are farewell meetings and expressions of gratitude on the local level, the Diocesan Episcopa tried to meet them through some of the regional clergy meetings. He met the clergy in Dallas area on Saturday April 21,2012.

The Diocese also presented them with a memento to mark their commendable service in these regions at a very challenging time, particularly for the clergy who came from India.

The Diocese expecting a group of 18 clergy to clear their R-1 Visa and to reach here on the first week of May
There are 7 ordained persons who are citizens of USA with 5 of them ministering in USA. There are more students aspiring to do theological studies, leading to ordination.
