Episcopal Visit to the St. Andrews Mar Thoma Church, Kalyan East

The Mumbai Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius visited the St. Andrews Mar Thoma Church, Kalyan East on Sunday October 16, 2016. Before starting the worship Thirumeni has done ‘Ezhuthiniruthu’ for a child (Seeyon), a member of the St. Andrews MTC, Kalyan East.

The worship and the Holy Qurbana started at 6:45 PM. The parish has observed that Sunday as Family Dedication day. Six children received their first Holy Communion and three boys and one girl were dedicated as Altar Boys and Covenant Girl respectively.

After the Holy Qurbana the parish had a session to welcome their new Diocesan Bishop. In that meeting the youths of the parish submitted their tithe (IRS. 10, 000. 00) to the project “Save a Heart Programme”.

Towards the end, there was a photo session with Tirumeni.
