Episcopal Visit to the Sehion Mar Thoma Church, Amalloor, Tiruvalla
Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa visited Sehion Mar Thoma Parish, Amalloor, Tiruvalla on Sunday November 27, 2016. The Holy Qurbana service started after the Thooyaba service and Vestry Prayer at 8am. Mar Theodosius spoke from the Gospel of St Luke 1: 39-45. A good number of people participated in the Holy Qurbana.
This was followed by the 62nd Parish Day program where the Vicar, Rev Abraham C. Pulinthitta, gave the Presidential Address and Mar Theodosius gave the Message for the occasion. Parish Secretary Mr. Mathews K George presented a brief Parish report. It was also an occasion to honour the members who have completed 80 years of age and those wedded Couples who completed 50 years of married life.
The choir sang melodious songs. There was Kaimuthu service which was followed by a Fellowship meal for all. The programme came to a close by 12.30 Noon.
