Episcopal Visit to Rasyani Congregation
The Diocesan Episcopa, Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius visited the Rasyani congregation on 15th March, 2017 at 06.30pm. Rasyani is an industrial area about 19 kms from Panvel. At present there are four families as members of this congregation. On every third Sundays Holy Qurbana is arranged there.
The Episcopal visit was a refreshing experience for the congregation. Tirumeni spoke on the occasion based on Matthew 15: 21 – 31.
Along with the communion service, there was dedication of a first communicant. The offertory collected during the service is used for the ‘Save a Heart programme’ of the Diocese. All together there were about 40 members to attend the service. After the service the new Diocesan Episcopa was welcomed by the Congregation with floral gifts. Few members of the Panvel parish accompanied Tirumeni along with the Diocesan Treasurer Mr. P. K. Achenkunju.
