Episcopal Visit to Perinadu Mar Thoma Church, Inchavila

Mar Theodosius, the Diocesan Bishop of the Mumbai Diocese of the Mar Thoma Church, visited the Perinadu Inchavila Mar Thoma Church and celebrated the Holy Qurbana on Saturday, November 26, 2016. The old church building at Perinadu is being shared by both the Mar Thoma and Orthodox parishes there. From Perinadu Mar Thoma Church now we have four new places of worship. Mar Theodosius hails from the Kizhakke Chakkalayil family of the Ashtamudy Mar Thoma Church. Before the formation of Ashtamudy MTC, they used to worship at the Perinadu Inchavila MTC, where Mar Theodosius was in the year 1949.

This is also the place where his parents and grad parents are buried. A good number of parishioners along with few achens and friends attended the worship service.

The visit of MarTheodosius was also an occasion to fix the main door at Inchavila Church, where they are constructing a new place of worship.

Mar Theodosius blessed the occasion and prayed for the speedy progress of the church construction.
