Episcopal Visit to Nallosapara Mar Thoma Church
October 23rd is observed by the Mar Thoma church as the family Sunday. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius visited two parishes on the day. After his visit to the Mar Thoma Church, Vikhroli, Mar Theodosius visited the Mar Thoma Parish at Nallasopara.
The Family day service was conducted with the leadership of the Vicar, Rev. Paul Jacob. The parishioners participated, with their family members present, and the families participated in the Holy Communion service. The Holy Qurbana was celebrated by Mar Theodosius and spoke about the significance of family life. He blessed those who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversary.
After the sermon, Mar Theodosius dedicated four First communicants. A large number of families participated in the Holy Qurbana. After the worship service, Mar Theodosius motivated the parish members to participate in all the Diocesan activities, including the ministries carried out through Nava Jeevan and Navodaya.
After the Kaimuthu service, Mar Theodosius met the 15 hostel children, staying in the campus. He also found time to interact with the parish choir members and the parents of the first communicants. There was a fellowship meal for all those who were present in the Church.
