Episcopal Visit to Gandhidham Mar Thoma Church

The Bishop of Mumbai Diocese of the Mar Thoma Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa, visited the Gandhidham Mar Thoma Church on May 31st, 2016 at 6 pm.

Thirumeni celebrated Holy Communion service at 7 pm. About 300 people participated in the worship service. An amount of Rs.18, 000/- was received as offertory for the purpose of ‘Save a Heart Project’.

After the Holy Communion service the parish arranged a grand reception to the Diocesan Episcopa. Rev. Arun George, Vicar officially welcomed Thirumeni. The Parish honoured Thirumeni with a shawl and bouquet. Thirumeni also interacted with the parishioners and made a reply speech. The meeting concluded with prayer, benediction and kaimuthu by Tirumeni.

After the reception, Thirumeni blessed the renovated St. Thomas Pre-school, Gandhidham and prayed for the new school bus and handed over the key to the Treasurer of the Trust, Mr. K. S. Cherian.
