Diocesan Sevika Sangham General Body

The annual General Body meeting of the Diocesan Sevika Sanghom was held at the St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church , Vashi on Saturday May 06, 2017 . The President, Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa, presided over the meeting. The meeting started with a worship service conducted by the members from Gujarat Centre. The Vice-President, Rev Dr. P. T. Jacob welcomed the gathering and Rev. Joel Samuel Thomas, Secretary to the Diocesan Bishop, gave the devotional message based on the life of St. Mary. Following that, the President declared the quorum and pronounced that the meeting is in order. Recording Secretaries were then appointed.The general body deliberated on the annual Report, Accounts of the previous year and the Budget for the New Year. These were passed and elections were conducted for the new term. The elected persons were congratulated. The outgoing Secretary handed over the books to the new Secretary and likewise the Treasurers. Resolutions were passed for changing the signatures in the Bank. Auditors were appointed. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Diocesan level competitions held on liturgical songs.  Mrs. Annamma Roy, the outgoing Secretary gave the Vote of thanks. The minutes was read and approved. The meeting closed with prayer by Isaac G Varghese Achen and Benediction by the Tirumani.Rev. Joel Samuel Thomas
