Daya Niketan Hostel, Nallasopara

DAYA NIKETAN HOSTEL is a Project of Mumbai Diocese Sevika Sangham for girls. The General Body of Nallasopara Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church held on 3rd June, 2012, discussed about the requirement of hostel space and decided to provide the premises for Hostel.

In the initial stage, it started with 13 children from various mission fields of villages in  Maharashtra.  Mr. Samuel Mauli and Mina Mauli served as the caretakers under the guidance of Rev. K. C. Chacko.

From 2015-16, Mr. Yashwant Bilkule and Jyoti are serving as the caretakers under the guidance of Rev. Paul Jacob. At present, 15 girls are residing in this Hostel.

Mumbai Diocese Sevika Sangham is taking care about the financial needs and our Edavaka is supporting for the day to day requirements. Presently Nallasopara Jerusalem Mar Thoma Sevika Sangham acting as the local guardian of the Hostel.
