Arrival of the new Diocesan Episcopa, 06 Apr 2016

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius arrived Mumbai International Airport at 3 am from New York as per the transfer Kalpana of the Metropolitan of the Church in place of Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Theethos who went on transfer to the Diocese of Kunnamkulam-Malabar on the 29 Mar 2016. A group of representatives, representing the diocese warmly welcomed Mar Theodosius at the airport.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His Lordship was accompanied to the Diocese and Centre at Vashi, New Bombay by the members of the group and welcomed him at the St. Pauls Marthoma Church. After the morning worship at the church, Mar Theodosius Thirumeni was welcomed on behalf of the Diocese by Rev. Saji Joseph, the Bishop Secretary. Mar Theodosius responded to the words of welcome by expressing his joy in joining the diocese of Mumbai.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

He also sought the co-operation and prayers of all the clergy and lay members of the diocese for carrying out the given ministry. The members present introduced themselves and took time to interact with the new bishop. The St. Pauls Mar Thoma Parish, Vashi, arranged coffee for everyone to have a fellowship time together.
