St. Thomas MTC, Chicago

The St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago was honored to be blessed with the presence of Rt. Rev. Dr. GeeVarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa on Friday, 4/15/2011.

Our beloved Thirumeni led the 40th day of Lent Holy Communion service and graced us with a meaningful message based on Mathew 4. Members of the St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago attended the service with members of the sister
parishes. The service was truly a blessing.
This third Episcopal visit of Mar Theodosius started with an informal clergy fellowship of the region. The visit to the parish was also an opportunity to inaugurate the registrations process for the national Sevika Sangham onference, which the parish is hosting in October 2011.

The members of the youth fellowship of the parish met the Diocesan Episcopa as they are organizing the regional youth fellowship conference on the last week of December 2011.

The members of the parish organized a fellowship meal after the holy communion service.
