11th Southern Region Youth Conference

The 11th annual Southern region youth conference was conducted in Covington, GA from August 2-5 th hosted by the Atlanta Mar Thoma Church youth fellowship.

The theme of the conference was “Weapons of Our Warfare – Called to Duty” based upon the verse “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4). Over 130 delegates from Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee attended the conference. This year conference was blessed by powerful messages by the main speaker Mr. Jojy Koshy from St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church in Dallas, and counseling sessions by Rev. V.M. Mathew, Youth Chaplain from New York. During this conference, delegates took part in the praise and worship session, main talks, theme oriented creative presentations, gender- as well as age-based breakout sessions and a dedication session.

Over 110 delegates dedicated / rededicated their lives to Christ during the dedication and testimony session on Saturday night. The conference ended with the Holy Qurbana service led by Rev. P.S.
