Theological Commission Seminar: Cultural Nationalism
The Mar Thoma Theological Commission organized a Seminar jointly with the Mar Thoma Theological College, Kottayam on the topic : Cultural Nationalism – Secular and Christian Perspectives.
It was held at the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary campus on Friday, February 23rd from 10 a m to 1.00 noon. The chairperson, Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa moderated the sessions.
The Principal of the Seminary, Rev. Dr. Prakash K. George welcomed the gathered members. Papers were presented by Dr. M. V. Bijulal, Mahatma Gandhi University and Rev. Dr. Joseph Daniel, Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam . There were responses from Rev. K. C. Varghese and Rev. Shiby Varghese, both from the staff of the Theological Seminary, Kottayam .There was also an open forum. The seminar concluded with Vote of thanks by Dr. Pracey Wilson and prayer by Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa.
