Visit to St. John’s MTC, London

Mar Theodosius visited St. John’s Mar Thoma Parish, London from Friday to Monday, August 18 to 21. The Vicar Rev. Shibu Kurian with the members of the parish received the bishop at the airport.There was a prayer meeting at the south – west area of the parish at the residence of Mrs. T. C. George on Saturday at 6 pm. That also gave an opportunity to meet the members of the prayer group.

The Holy Communion service on Sunday was at 9.15 a.m. There was Parish Sunday School prior to that. A group that came early to the Church engaged themselves in Intercessory prayer. The Communion service was in Malayalam. Members who were celebrating their birthdays and wedding Anniversaries came forward during the service for thanksgiving prayer. Mar Theodosius spoke on the Gospel portion of the day and exhorted the members to spend time daily for personal Bible Study and devotion. The newly elected committee members of the parish were also dedicated.A large number of people participated in the Holy Qurbana. The service was attended by some visitors as well. The Ministry of the Bombay diocese was shown through Video presentation and Mar Theodosius spoke to the members regarding the significance of the Ministry there. The service ended with Kaimuthu Service and a fellowship meal.

Mar Theodosius spend Monday to meet the members of the parish who came to the Parsonage. The visit, as a whole, was a blessed time.
