Nandgaon Mission Field

This is a Mission Field in Thane District that needs constant attention. Mr. Srinath Powar ministers here now as an evangelist and visits regularly 11 Villages. This field is supported by the Mar Thoma Church in Goregoan. The Vicar Rev. Sajeev Thomas came with a group of parishioners to attend the function. The present place has a property with a large Hall. The evangelist is now staying in the side room.The Missionary Rev K C Chacko and the Mission Coordinator Mr. Blessen led the gathered congregation in singing songs, reading the Scripture and participating in worship. This Mission baptized 190 members, but at present there are only about 38 members.The pastoral ministry is much needed.  The members are enthusiastic in spending a whole night for singing Bhajans and listening to the Scriptural messages. They cook food in the campus and worship the Lord on Sunday. The present place was dedicated in 2014.The visitors were all welcomed and Mar Theodosius spoke to the assembly. Rev. Sajeev Thomas expressed gratitude to all those came. Agree sapling was planted to mark the occasion.
