Episcopal Visit to Anand Mar Thoma Church

Rev. K. C. Santhosh, who is the Vicar at Gandhi Nagar Mar Thoma Parish and Anand Mar Thoma Parish, received Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius with the parishioners at the Ahemedbad airport on the morning of December 02, 2016. Mar Theodosius went by road to Anand which is about 2hrs drive and he was welcomed by the parishioners in the evening.

The Holy Communion service was in the evening at 7 pm and Mar Theodosius gave leadership. Rev K. C. Santhosh, the Vicar, assisted in the service. Mar Theodosius spoke on the importance of Parenting based on the Gospel of St. Luke, chapter 1. There was a meeting of the parish to welcome the new Diocesan Episcopa who is visiting the parish for the first time. They have a place of their own and a place of worship.

Mar Theodosius stayed with the family of Rev. K. C. Santhosh and the parishioners took care of the needs. Mar Theodosius found time to visit the family of Mr. Varghese who passed away recently while he was serving as the Vice President of the Gandhi Nagar Mar Thoma Parish. Tirumani returned to Bombay on the morning of December 03, 2016.
