Episcopal Visit to the St. Peter’s MT Parish, Kuwait

Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius, Diocesan Episcopa, visited St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Parish on Friday August 19, 2016. There was a Holy Qurbana service at the church at 7am. Rev Santhosh Philip serves as the present Vicar.

Mar Theodosius spoke on the significance of fellowship in the church by basing his sermon the words of St. Paul as is found in 1 Corinthians: 11: 17-28.

After the Holy Qurbana service Mar Theodosius spoke about the Diocesan program carried out through the Navajeevan, Navodaya and mission programmes. He explained the ministries of Navodaya among the special children, transgenders and rag-pickers found in the cosmopolitan city of Mumbai. He urged the members to actively participate in the Diocesan collection scheduled in the parish for the month of January 2017.
