Report on Episcopal Visit of Rt.Rv.Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius.
His Lordship, Rt.Rev.Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa, Bishop of Mumbai diocese with Rev.Saji Joseph, Bishop &
Diocesan Secretary visited Trinity Mar Thoma Church, Sakinaka on 1st May 2016.
After receiving Thirumeni by Office bearers at 08.00AM, spent some time with Office bearers and Parish members at Parsonage.
Holy Communion service was celebrated by Thirumeni at 9.00 AM, assisted by Rev.Saji Joseph, Lay leaders Mr.Easo Varghese and Sunny P George. During the Holy Communion service His Grace shared the word of God from Mathew-28:16-20 (Go out, teach and Make disciples).
After Holy Communion service Mr.Saji Thomas, Vice President and Mr.Samuel John welcomed with bouquet to His grace Rt.Rev.Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa and Rev.Saji Joseph respectively on behalf of the Parish.
Mr.Rajan Mathew, Secretary gave the thankful felicitations for Thirumeni’s visit and support. Rev ,Saji Joseph read the Kalpana from Mar Thoma Metropolitan regarding Transfer of Rev.Dr.RC Thomas to Kerala a
nd Rev,Saju Chacko ,Vicar Vikhroli Mar Thoma Church as Vicar in-charge temporarily till further arrangement . Thirumeni expressed gratitude to the services of Rev. Dr.RC Thomas during his tenure.
During the meeting Thirumeni appreciated to Mr.Raji Thomas & Family (who are shifting to Kerala in the month of May-2016) for all support and services rendered to church and presented a Memento on behalf of Parish.
The Meeting ended by 11.45 AM after Thirumeni’s Kaimuthu
