Episcopal Consecration Silver Jubilee

The Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius was consecrated alongside Rt. Rev. Geevarghese Mar Athanasius and Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos as Bishops of the Mar Thoma Church on December 9, 1989. 2014 marks the completion of 25 years of Episcopal ministry in the Church. During the course of the year, many churches in the Diocese honored Thirumeni with a warm reception. To mark this milestone, the Diocese of North America and Europe initiated the Going Green Project to create a stronger awareness that we as Christians are to be stewards of nature, as God has instructed us to be. Under the heading of this project, many churches planted a tree in their church campus, during Thirumeni’s episcopal visit.

During the course of the past 25 years, Thirumeni was the Diocesan Bishop over Madras-Kunnamkulam and Kunnamkulam-Malabar, Trivandrum-Quilon Diocese, and Chennai – Bangalore and Malaysia-Singapore & Australia Dioceses. He is currently serving as the Dioesan Bishop over the Diocese of North America and Europe.

As Thirumeni continues on in his ministry, we pray that God will continue to bestow His blessings on his servant to do greater things in the episcopate role that God has placed him in.
